3 tips on how to get your Solar Wall Plaques and Garden Brackets ready for the year ahead!
Â
Tip 1: Spring Clean 🧽
Before the summer you may want to check the solar panel and steel plaque or bracket isn't covered with any debris, especially after the winter months full of wind, rain and snow...Â
1.With a soft cloth or sponge remove from any dirt from the steel & solar panel with some mild soapy water.
2.Once cleaned, gently remove any bubbles and water with with a dry cloth left on the panel & steel.
Please do not use any harsh cleaning products or detergents.
Â
Tip 2: Sunny Spot 🌞
Solar lights need as much direct sunlight as possible to receive the most charge and ultimately light up for as long as possible.
As the weather starts to pick up, it’s a great idea to figure out if you’ve positioned your solar light in the best place.
Perhaps it's further down the fence, or away from any trees that may overshadow it as we head into spring!
Â
Tip 3: Repaint 🖌
Our wall plaques, wall art and garden brackets are powder coated with weather resistant black paint to ensure they hold their colour from our weather. However...
If you did want to repaint your plaque you can do so with Exterior Water or Oil Based paint.
This step isn’t essential but a few of our customers have chosen to do so!
DO NOT use Hammerite paint as this may react with the powder coating.
And voila! all ready to go for the summer night ahead! 🌞
