I have 4 of these lights now, 1 Lancaster and the other 3 are the Spitfires
I havent put them up yet (the weather is just too miserable for them, + the sun doesnt shine long enough to chage them)
When I first got them, I turned them on, they were pretty bright and looked good, but only lasted 3-4 hours, so they do need a lot of sunshine to give them a decent charge in the batteries
Maybe towards mid summer the sun will fully charge them
I have no idea how long they will stay on
Hopefully I'll be asleep when they shut down
Yes I would recommend them if only for the novelty factor
I sent one of the Lancasters to my friend, he loved it, but like me he is waiting for longer days
