The RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight comprises three main WWII aircraft. Whilst the Lancaster and Spitfire grab most of the headlines, the Hurricane was the backbone of the defence of the UK in the summer of 1940. Thank you Jess for enabling this marvellous collection in my RAF-inspired snug!
