Your frequently asked questions about our solar lights, answered!

We've pulled a list together of your most frequently asked questions and popped all the answers to them right here! 

 

How long is it before my item is dispatched?

Orders placed before 12.30pm will be despatched the same working day, any orders placed after this time will be despatched the next working day. 

Please note: Items are only sent Monday-Friday

 

How much is delivery and how will my order take to arrive?

Delivery is FREE over £35 with Royal Mail 2nd Class

Or 

£2.99 for Royal Mail 2nd Class (2-4 Working Days)

£3.99 for Royal Mail 1st Class (12 Working Days)

 

My light doesn’t work?

Please ensure the light is switched on. 

There is a switch under the clear plastic cover which needs to be switched on to allow the light to charge. More details in next FAQ answer!

We test all our solar lights before sending them out to you, but if you have switched it on and it is still not working please contact us at contact@florysonline.co.uk and we will be happy to assist you!

Please note: in winter months the sun is not as strong as during the summer and we receive significantly less sun hours, so the lights will not stay illuminated for as long.

 

How do I turn the light on?

Place your hand over the clear plastic cover and ‘squeeze’. The cover should then pry off. 

Please note: The cover can sometimes be on quite tight, so you may need to be tough with it.

Can you make custom designs to my request?

Due to the way our lights are made, we are unable to produce custom designs. The production involved would be too expensive, sorry! 😔

 

Can I return my item?

Yes! We have a 30 day money back guarantee on all of our products. As long as your item is unused and undamaged we can accept your return!

What do I do if I never received my order?

Please ensure that your parcel has not been left with a neighbour or a ‘safe place’ around your home.

If it has been more than 7 working days, please contact us immediately at contact@florysonline.co.uk and we will investigate what has happened to your order.

 

How do I make changes to an order I’ve already placed?

Whilst we cannot guarantee we will be able to amend your order, we will try our best. Please send us an email to contact@florysonline.co.uk with your order number.

If your item has already been shipped we will be unable to make any further changes.

 

Where are you located?

We are located in Kidderminster, West Midlands. The heart of the UK!

 

What are your Plaques made from?

Our Plaques and Basket Brackets are laser cut from Mild Steel. They are then chemically treated and powder-coated for protection against our lovely British weather!
